Make this winter the start of your paramotor journey. Join Toronto Powered Paragliding for focused, hands-on training on El Salvador’s Pacific coast, with equipment, shared accommodation and airport transfers included.
CAD $4,800 + applicable tax
Reserve with CAD $500. An additional refundable equipment security deposit applies.
THE COURSE
Build your skills through a practical program supervised by qualified instructors and TPP Chief Instructor Manuel Morales, a Transport Canada-certified instructor.

From February 18–24, training progresses from ground preparation and wing control to motor handling and flight practice.

What you’ll learn
Â

Equipment preparation, canopy inspection and harness setup.

Wing control and ground-handling techniques.

Paramotor operation, throttle control and launch preparation.

Flight communication, safety procedures and emergency response.

Takeoffs, flight manoeuvres and landings as your training progresses.
Â
Daily schedules cover approximately eight hours, including breaks and meals. Training activities and flight progression depend on suitable conditions and instructor assessment. All training equipment is provided.

Ground school & your pilot permit
Your course includes online ground school, which you may complete before, during or after the trip.
The practical training is designed to develop the experience and flight hours needed to work toward Transport Canada’s Ultralight Pilot Permit. To obtain the permit, you must also complete the required written examination at a Transport Canada facility after returning and obtain the required Category 4 medical certification when applying.

If circumstances beyond our control prevent completion of the practical course in El Salvador, the remaining training will be completed at TPP’s facilities in Ontario at no additional training cost.
YOUR STAY & TRAVEL
Your package includes shared accommodation in a double room, with two participants per room, and round-trip transfers between the airport and training location.

February 17 · Arrival
Pickup at El Salvador International Airport, Óscar Arnulfo Romero, followed by transfer and accommodation check-in.
February 18–24 · Training
Practical training in Costa del Sol.
February 25 · Departure
Return transfer to the airport.

Airfare and meals are not included. Medical insurance specifically covering paramotor training and flights is strongly recommended.
